The light handle is nice.
But this geometry is a bit too aggressive for my taste.
Today I've switched on something a little more consistent.

I find more comfortable, with less power on the head.
And I love the color combination ...

Interesting example of how the coupling of the handle on Yaqi SCHaDE (Katana) is complex.
In fact, the lower face of the base has a very thin flat section.
So (as in the "original" handle) it wants a thin capital.
Penalty problems with tightening, stability and / or alignment.

Of the SCHaDE head, there's the Black Edition.
As of all the other DEs.

Of the Katana now there's the travel edition.
Light resin handle, the Globe Trotter colors are nice.

Just asked to have both, merged in one.
White & Chrome handle, with Black head.
If available, I'll have the Tuxedo Trotter.

The Australian Yaqi site has the Katana listed in it's Version 3, but there are no references to the changes between versions.

Fun bit of kit today. Both razors were hacks. First pass was my SuperClick Flexball v4 loaded with Bic CP. Second and Clean up were with a (very) junky Yaqi Katana (v1?) head on a Baili handle loaded with a Japan Schick injector blade. That razor is (poorly) designed for 1/2 DE, but the Schick was loads better and is much safer. Lots of blade feel and sharpness, no chatter. A very smooth secure shave- Mr Shiny Face in fact.

If you have the head and and an injector blade, give it a shot. It is pretty awesome. As you can make the razor heavier than injectors, it may even be better than injector razors. Alignment is a touch finicky, but worth it!

How can one know which head is which?  I have the box with a hand written code on it, I need to dig it up.
