FYI, they make their aftershave balms in menthol-free versions too, but if the lotion works just as well, why not?

I got excited and had to check again, but all of the scented balms do have menthol.  Only the unscented one is offered in menthol-free.

@Sapone Di Paolo Oops! Sorry man, I didn't mean to get your hopes up! I guess it was the Integrity balm I was thinking of. However, I think they should offer all of their balms in a menthol-free version.

I just wanted to note that Darren is sending me a few samples to try. I sent them an email yesterday to ask a few questions prior to ordering a bottle. Darren responded that he'd send me a few samples to try and that he'd like some feedback whether it was good or bad.

for clarity, the questions I asked soap commander were these:
1- since I carry a beard, does anything in their body lotion damage facial hair
2- if the body lotion is fine for facial hair, can it replace the standard beard oil

I prefer refined shea butter, nice and smooth and seems to work just as well for my skin but my wife likes the unrefined.

my wife likes the unrefined as well.

I just started in on my 3rd sample of soap commander body lotion. I must say, they're quite nice and they smell awesome. my favorite so far is passion..I just started using this one today!!!

the only downfalls to the cream, in my opinion, is that it's harder to spread throughout the beard and doesn't make it glisten & shine like traditional oils do. I don't fault soap commander for this as I believe the same 'problems' would be duplicated regardless of what cream one were to use on their beard.
