Ecosse Jealous of Freddy's Spandex Underware  Posts: 2,266 Joined: Mar 2010 Location: Akron, OH. The way the pictures are loading are killing me. They are coming in at full size and once all the data for the pics are received they then go smaller. Is there a way we can change this around?

Is there a way we can change this around? unfortunately, not that I know of. if we don't force the images to be resized if they're larger than the parameters we set (690px wide), a lot of photos will seriously break the templates - you'll see photos that are larger than the forum theme itself and cause the photo to go off of the page. Eff that, I'm not waiting around for pictures to load. sadly I don't think there's any other way around it. from now on, I'll start using smaller photos (I know mine tend to be big), but that won't prevent the occasional large photo from having to be resized. |
