The way the pictures are loading are killing me. They are coming in at full size and once all the data for the pics are received they then go smaller. Is there a way we can change this around?

Gary, I have been using Photobucket to shrink my photos before I post them here and then just copy and paste. Will that help you at all?

Freddy, I'm talking about opening and reading threads that have a lot of pictures in them.

unfortunately, not that I know of. if we don't force the images to be resized if they're larger than the parameters we set (690px wide), a lot of photos will seriously break the templates - you'll see photos that are larger than the forum theme itself and cause the photo to go off of the page.

the only thing I'd suggest doing is waiting for a minute when you notice a thread has a lot of photos, that way the resizing plugin has a minute to resize all of the photos.

sadly I don't think there's any other way around it. from now on, I'll start using smaller photos (I know mine tend to be big), but that won't prevent the occasional large photo from having to be resized.

that would help too. I actually was going to go around and fix all of my photos last night, but I was having some issues with my photo gallery software. Angry
