Just got an ever ready brush off the bay and waiting for GN finest knot to put in it. I'll be posting before and after pics as I just hit the handle with Flitz. This is the first time to use Flitz and its a great product, I'm surprised by the results.

I've used Flitz for a few years now. An excellent product to renew plastic, fiberglass, bakelite, etc. Works great on straight razor scales to bring up a nice shine.

I was curious to see how a Lady Gillette would shave. Since this was the only [acronym]TTO,Twist-To-Open[/acronym] that Gillette offered to women but has a longer handle than any of my other TTO's, I thought I'd give it a try. Little did I realize that these are going for some funny money on e-Bay but I was finally able to score this one for a reasonable price (I saw at least one for US$45). I'll give it a go sometime in the next few weeks, after I clean it up. Pam has already told me that it shaves on the mild side so it will be interesting to see how it compares to my Gillette Tech and my STAR DE's, my two mildest. Neither is a TTO, though.

I cleaned it last night, Kevin, and it polished up beautifully. I'll be using my STAR ☆-Bar LC all this week (see my SOTD) so I'm hoping to get to this one in the next couple of weeks. If I like the way it shaves then I'll keep it.

It cleaned up very nicely, Freddy!

Thanks, Bill. As for the 60's, like every other era, it had its problems. What I miss most about that time was the optimism people seemed to have.

I don't know about the cart, but the gel worked well enough when I was in a rush.. DFS for a few pennies.

BTW, your brush has proven to be the most used in my inventory.. Thumbsup
