I have been wetshaving for two and a half years, but only recently discovered this forum. I am active some other places, so if you recognize the name, it is probably me you're thinking of.

In terms of my shaving preferences, I'm mostly a De shaver, although I enjoy bringing my Gem 1912 SE out from time to time. I do own and dabble with a straight once in a while, but i doubt that it will ever be my main passion.

I've been using a lot of soft soaps and boar brushes , recently, but who knows if that will eb true next week. ;>

Nab one off of ebay. I think I paid 6 bucks shipped. Theyre very cheap there, because there's so much less demand for any of them, except lather catchers and mint collector's pieces.

Nice to meet you Sargon. Personally, I'm probably one of the older farts here that started with a 'strait' in my youts. I got lost in the woods, and in the last couple of years found my way back out.

Welcome
