I purchased this beautiful Semogue 2011 Limited Edition Finest Bristle 1 - #49 from Phil at BullGoose. I just held it and looked at it for two days before I used it. It is a whole lot better looking in person than any picture can justify. This little beauty will tear in to a puck of MWF and build one heck of a lather. Without a doubt the best boar brush that I have ever owned.

I really like the look of the handle on those.

Very, very nice looking. Do you have any other Semogue brushes to compare it to?

Yes sir, I have a Semogue 1305 and there is no comparison at all. The quality of the boar and quality of the manufacture is as different as night and day.

If this brush would of had the name Simpsons or Kent stamped on it, it would have cost twice what they sell for.

I very much like the handle on the new semogue brush, but the price turns me off at this point...
