Finally I got my hands on one of these brushes: a Semogue Limited Edition 2009 boar brush, with cherry wood handle! Big Grin

I really like shaving brushes with wooden handles, and these cherrywood handles, like the one and the SOC, are perhaps the prettiest wooden handles made by Semogue. In these photos, I tried to highlight the natural pattern/grain of the cherrywood handle, that turn these brushes, in my opinion, into one of the prettiest brushes ever made by this company.

Congratulations from the owner of #50, use it in good health. It would appear that it has not see much usage judging by the knot. I guess I'll have to polish up the handle on mine to bring it back up to snuff.

Max: Hey, piece of pie.
Curnow: Cake, piece of cake.

Max: Easy as cake, yes?
Curnow: Pie, easy as pie.

Well, I was lucky enough to find one at a little less than its original price (they sold, when new, for €30 plus shipping). The seller said that the brush has 10 uses, more or less.. The truth is that the brush is almost new, and it isn't even broken in yet!

+1 Those are really great pictures and I have the SOC in cherry; also, my 2009 LE Semogue Badger has the horn handle and finest hair which is one of the best brushes if not my favorite.
