So I know I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but exactly how do I quote multiple posts in one reply? I guess it's about time to learn. :hmm:

Bob, I believe that has come up in the past and I don't think there is an easy way to do it on the site. Maybe one of the admins. or other mods. can pipe in with a suggestion.

Thanks for your reply Freddy. I've been looking through FAQs and doing searches. Who knows, maybe there is no way.

Click to quote Freddy's last post and then look at the brackets for the coding on how to do multiple quotes within a quote. It's pretty simple.

Sorry Krissy, I still don't get it. Can you give me the long version?

Ok I replaced one [ with a ( in the top so you can see the pattern and colored the code so you can see what wording goes with what quote.

Krissy, I'm trying to do what Gene posted above. He has both Freddys and my quotes separately in his reply.

Then you need two codes, one for each quote. I switched one of the [ with a ( so you can see the code.

Or you can use the quote option. Once again I replaced one of the [ with a ( so you can see the code written out.
(quote] this is now quoted but it doesn't fall back onto who said it. [/quote]

This seems like one royal pain in the behind. Probably will be easier to use separate replies. There are other sites that have a 'multi-quote' button. Just didn't see one here.

But thanks anyway Krissy. ; )

Glad to see to back online.

After clicking on "quote" to quote and begin the post, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page that your on, and there you will see another scroll bar, about half an inch in from the main scroll up an down bar. There you will find all the previous quotes that have been posted. Select "quote" from whoever's post and they will then appear in their own box.
Hit "submit" as usual to post.
