I understand the rationale to differentiate from that "other place" but commie red hurts my eyes. Eek7

Max: Hey, piece of pie.
Curnow: Cake, piece of cake.

Max: Easy as cake, yes?
Curnow: Pie, easy as pie.

you can switch it back to the blue theme by visiting your user cp and browsing to the edit options section where you can chose which theme you want.

Sometimes I'll come here without logging in, so the option to change the colors on the user cp would be irrelevant.

I will say that the red comes off a bit stark compared to the background.

Now when I come to the site, the red color reminds me of bloody nicks suffered while shaving....

Alright, I'll play the part of the old fart (for which I am aptly qualified) and say that I don't care
for the retina sizzling red and reset to good old blue. Damn whippersnapper, get
off my lawn.Icon_lol

I like the new look.. a little change of pace from the old.
I generally abhor change of any kind in my life, and this will take a little getting used to, but, so far so good!

Thanks for all the hard work!

Sorry guys, but in three words, I hate it! Confused The red is screaming loud [Image: smiley-shocked025.gif] and the razors make the site unnecessarily busy. I changed it back to the default blue but I still get that shock of red when I go onto the site, before logging in, and immediately after logging out. Is there some way to bypass the new look altogether for those of us who find it not to their liking? It would be much appreciated.

I really wish we could just go into that myBB site and choose our own look. [Image: sign-smiley-7161.gif]

It's just plain ugly and too hard on the eyes for extended reading, IMO.

aside from not logging out, no.

the problem with having a lot of different themes is constantly making sure every little change is replicated to every theme. I used to do this on another forum I ran and it just got to be too much, so I reduced it to two, like we have on here.

surprisingly, I like this theme a lot. I generally prefer darker themes, but this one is nice because it's different than the standard mybb layout.

aside from not logging out, no. you can set up your browser so that it stores your passwords and cache so that it'll never log you out of this site.
