I had tried the original stuff first, but it was too strong for me.
I have experimented with and without it and I find that it does give me a better shave. |

I'm going to throw it out there for your consideration, and you may laugh, but here it is ... Noxzema Deep Cleaning cream. |

It really is pretty good. Flavors are an individual thing.

It really is pretty good. Flavors are an individual thing. As a cleanser it has glide? Weird, isn't it? Use it sparingly, as you would a pre-oil, don't rinse it off. Apply your soap and go. I forget where I got this tip. Again, as to smell, YMMV.

It really is pretty good. Flavors are an individual thing. As a cleanser it has glide? It's slicker than whale poop. It has eucalyptus, flaxseed oil, camphor, and even menthol so I like to use it under 'minty/mentholy' shave soaps. Some folks use it as a brushless shave cream. http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread....skin-cream |
To me, there is very little difference between Proraso pre/post shave cream and Noxema, except the price. Like Gene, I like to use it when I am having a minty or menthol shave. Freddy |

Again, as to smell, YMMV. There was a member on here, Compa, who would use the Noxzema as a pre-shave under his lather. That's probably where you heard it. |
