I know that some of the folks here were responsible for the vision that became the Semogue 2009 LE, and they did a great job!
Unfortunately for me, I came too late to get in on it... So, I'm wondering if the same folks are considering a new LE brush from Semogue for 2010? I see posts on other forums adding all kind of suggestions as to what the next edition should be. It all seems kind of disrespectful to me, since the original creators are not involved.
I know that maybe it's too early to start thinking about all of this as the '09 brushes are still relatively new.
I guess I'm just adding my dibs on a new LE brush, if there is to be one..

Thoughts?

My friend,we are PRETTY MUCH involved in this new 2010 LE but we let other ppl belive that theyre the ones who are choosing hows the brush gonna be.Dont get me wrong,we DO LISTEN to every suggestion but Semogue and us have the last word on it.And dont worry, this 2010 LE edition is gonna be as good as the 09,but there are gonna be surprises not related to the LE 2010 so stay tuned!

hmmmm a 2010 LE? But...

But....

I don't know... .I am at a loss... It would have to be super special if I were going to go in on another LE. The 2009 is just that great! I suppose we need something special for all of those that missed out on the first round of Semogue LE.

I don't understand the attemps to put the badger brushes in the top of the shave tools pyramid,.... :hmm: ... as Audiolab said in TSR

Audiolab@TSR Wrote:No Offense John, I do know what you mean, there is a good feeling about using a boar and getting good lather. I am just too soft and perhaps too pretty for that, give me a nice badger every time. I have stopped using my Semogue LE 2009, not because it is rubbish, in fact it is one of the best boars around. It is just a preference.

Anyone want to buy a Semogue LE 2009 used about 20 times

Yes, it is just a preference. The most expensive brush I own is a silver-tip badger. I like it and I use it. However, Teiste did such a good job of enabling ( Rotflol ) about the Semogues that I took the plunge with the 1305 and have never looked back. I now have the 1305, 2000, and LE with an 830 on the way. I also have an Omega 10098 which I like very much. Thanks, Teiste; I'm broke but I'm happy.

I don't know if my thread on SMF was disrespectful, I was merely asking what others might think considering I didn't have that many brushes to begin with.

Like I told Leon/Bruno, if it's a mixed loft brush I'm on it like chicken and rice. I'm not gonna miss out on a boar again.

Like Teiste said, there are plans in the works for a SOC 2010 LE brush.

As for other's posts being disrespectful - I don't necessarily think so. I think it's more that people are just excited about the prospect of another LE brush, and/or are disappointed in missing out on the 2009 LE.

While we're on the subject, something was brought to my attention that was miscommunicated before. The SOC 2009 LE brush is not recognized by Semogue as the SOC 2009 LE. It is a Semogue 2009 LE, designed by the SOC (well, Teiste and me). So, the 2010 SOC LE brush will have a Semogue Owners Club logo on it to avoid any further confusion.

And, for those who have missed out on the awesomeness that is the 2009 LE brush - we haven't forgotten about you......we're working on...........something.
