Well, this won't be updated much as I am a creature of habit. Three pictures attached, first the tools, second the after shaves, and third the soaps. I love the old Schick Razors so much that I sold off all of my DE razors except for one TTO.

Equipment picture:

Razors: Schick G1 and a Edwin Jagger DE87.

Brushes: Simpsons Wee Scot, Simpsons Duke 2, Small D.R. Harris H1, and Medium D.R. Harris H2.

Scuttle: Dirty Bird 1.5

Soap and After Shave:

After Shaves:

The Musgo Real Aftershave Classic is one of my favorites and goes well with the MWF and CELLA. I like using the Proraso After Shave with the Proraso Soaps. My two German after shaves, Pitralon and Speick are two of my favorites, but my all time favorite is the Floid Blue and I use it 90% of the time with all soaps.

Soaps:

I guess my all time favorite soap is the MWF with the rest being about equal. I replaced the Proraso with the Palmolive Menthol Cream (very cooling). Cella is always a favorite and the Palmolive Classic and GFT Limes are excellent creams along with the tried and true Speick.

I've tried most everything out there and I'm sure I will try some more, but these are the six I always come back to. I use the Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil Soap before every shave.

95% of the time, I use the G1 pictured on the right in the scuttle along with the MWF and Duke 2 brush. The D.R. Harris H1 and H2 brush get used with the soft soaps and creams.

Six years ago you would have seen plenty of straights and strops but sadly I sold off all but my original Double Duck that my Dad gave me 40 years ago. The old hands are not as steady as they use to be, so to preserve my health I started using my old G1 Schicks.

very nice collection, I especially like the razors and that scuttle.

where did you buy the scuttle and what did it run you, if you don't mind me asking?

I took this out of storage and dusted it off to set on the cabinet in my bathroom. I bought it back in 1977 from the Franklin Mint. Made of pewter, is shows a barber giving a shave and a shoe shine boy.

That is great, Johnny. It's perfect as an accent piece. Smile

Now Johnny it looks as if you have two more to join the fold.

The pewter casting is a very nice touch!
