In the sellers defence, he didn't appear to set a reserve and started the auction with a very Low selling price, well under MSRP.

It's not like these are unobtainable, it's just a waiting game. If people are dumb enough to not research their availability and cost, more power to the seller.

These are my thoughts based on the assumption that he paid for the razor up front. It would be nice to see a sold out (for the time being) razor given back to a forum member but don't think he is on any, so eBay is a good outlet for selling.

But honestly, if people are willing to buy because they can't wait a few weeks or a month then, I can't see the fault in the seller. A <razor_that_can't_be_named> were sold for 175 here yesterday. A handle (different material) is now on our BST for 200. While we all praised the seller (175 guy) we can't really blame the next guy for trying to get a higher price.
