Amazing - reminds me of a time I spoke to a grooming editor at a men's magazine in London about the latest Gillette model. It was a disposable razor that had a battery in it to make it vibrate - 'to get a closer shave'! Never heard of anything so dumb. Anyway, the editor there was laughing about it because the only reason they made it was because Gillette owned the company that made the batteries - so they made money twice on a product that nobody really needed!

If I'm not mistaken, that was the theory behind the Stahly Live Blade razor. It wound up and vibrated for a closer shave. The idea's been around for a while, actually...

Let us not forget the newest gillette razor... the proglide styler, which places a proglide head onto the body of... a trimmer... *shudders*
