I was just reading the thread about Aqua Velva going to plastic and noted that many of you prefer glass. So the question becomes what do you prefer and why?

Thank you so much!

I just prefer glass in general. More perception than anything i suppose, but if I had the choice, I would get rid of all plastic containers.

Glass bottles lend a feeling of....quality?.....care?.... in the product. I'm having difficulty getting across what I mean. Like, even a $2 Wally World aftershave will be better in a glass bottle than a plastic one. Also, I think the inertness of glass compared to plastic has something to do with lasting quality, too. I'd imagine over time the aftershave may degrade a bit of the plastic...or the plastic will change the content/make up of the product.

Something like that....

I think its the same reason we prefer our beverages in glass over cans or plastic. The product is just better out of glass. Not to mention its "Greener" Thumbsup

Thanks guys! Please everyone continue to post your comments.

I do get what you are saying. Next question - do you have a preferred shape or colour?

Sorry guys, its the first day with the new hands so that (1 - Plastic) should be Glass. I am not particular about shape or color but for fragrance I like the smaller dropper tops like TOBS and Trumper use.

Thanks olblueyez I was wondering where that plastic vote came from since no-one so far had said they prefer it. So when you refer to fragrance are you meaning cologne?

I have to admit that I much prefer plastic in the bathroom for safety reasons. However, the absolute exception to that is my EdT's. I voted glass.

I'm also one who likes plastic for bathroom safety reasons, but I can get glass.

Oops Sorry about that, Lindy. I hate these abbreviations and acronyms (and don't know most of them myself) but that just seems to be the way of it in the computer age. Again, I apologize.
