This guy is incredible when it comes to shipping. Three orders from Shanghai to USA (Fl) in less then a week. And his Frank Shaving products are second to none. Prices can't be beat. The reason I mention Ian's name is because there are other vendors from China that sell Frank Shaving products.

I agree, Jerry. Selwyn introduced me to these brushes and I have since bought another for myself and a couple for gifts. They are packaged beautifully, come with a brush stand and, as you say, the shipping from China is fantastic.

I just got one, I would have to give it 2 thumbs up. the handle is solid, it bloomed beautifully, and lathers like a champ.

I got the Black handle Finest with the 24mm knot 50mm loft. It has only lost 3 hairs. and those have been little short ones.

I think they are one of the best brush bargains ever. I have 4, a silver tip, 2 finest and 1 best. All are well made and work great. I hardly ever use my Vulfix, Rooney or Vie-Long any more. Great brush at a great price.

That's the spirit ! - You can never have enough brushes. ( just ask the The King of brushes - Selwyn !)

Thanks Andy, I might have to check them out and look for a lower loft brush which I am partial to.

Krissy, they are certainly under valued, great brushes. Unfortunately the loft on these are all pretty much at 52mm. At least all that I've seen. I like the shorter lofts as well (44-48).

IFD: I have 2; 1 Finest & 1 Silvertip.

Krissy,

I have the "Berwick," which is about 21/47 in 2-band. It's also a fan shape and is a great face lathering brush. It's my fave of the three FS brushes I have. Just one to consider. Ian will also customize if you ask I've been told.

Best,
Mike

Thanks Mike, I really like the shorter loft brushes. For me they are much better than the longer loft one for leg lathering. I need to get back into business before doing some shopping so I've got it saved so I can order it ASAP.

I've got two brushes that I use most often now, the one I don't have a clue about its measurements, but the other is from Tony at penworks and has these measurements.
Width Knot 20 mm
Overall height 91mm,
handle 46mm
loft 45mm,

Where the Berwick measures
Base: 3.2cm
Width of bristles at base: 2.1cm
Width of bristles at top: 5.1cm
Length of bristles: 4.7cm
Weight:48g

Close enough to be what I like and different enough to make it special. Zzap
