| 12-05-2009 04:20 PM Lynnsys Cosmetic Supplies (http://stores.ebay.com/Lynnsys-Cosmetic-Supplies) is an e-Bay store that I have done business with at least three times. If you are looking for sample size bottles, jars, atomizers, transfer pipets (to fill those tiny sample bottles with colognes), chap stick style tubes (to make shave sticks, perhaps), or any other number of small cosmetic supplies then take a look. Some of the items include free shipping, too. As I say, I have used this e-Bay supplier at least three times and in each case I found the prices, packaging, and shipping times all reasonable. | 12-07-2009 10:33 AM My favorite home made soap maker on Ebay is this husband and wife team. The unscented olive oil shave soap doesn't lather well, but make a great pre-shave soap. Her bath soaps are top notch and inexpensive. I haven't tried any glycerin soaps but her cold processed soaps are better than anything else I've tried...and I make soaps for fun occasionally. http://stores.ebay.com/MoKanTreasures?_rdc=1 **May as well add my other favorites while I'm here** http://stores.ebay.com/Loras-beauty-shop?_rdc=1 (great selection and prices of interesting oils for the pre-shave/do it yourself type of person) http://stores.ebay.com/Shaving-Factory?_rdc=1 Derby guy- blades, razors, derby shaving cream, etc. http://stores.ebay.com/Double-Edge-Shaving-Place?_rdc=1 Dr.Idiot from some of the forums...In Singapore so the shipping times stink but nice selection and prices SELLER ID: nnachsho (No store so no link) The only place left to get MEM shave cream. In Israel, so shipping stinks too- and he requires a signature receipt so plan for that also- but he'll take a lower offer for the SC so make one! |

12-07-2009 01:31 PM Dude, when you can get home made soap, thongs and a shotgun cleaning kit from the same place, it's better than Wal-Mart.

01-14-2010 05:44 PM http://stores.ebay.com/Roberts-Ceramic- ... lay?_rdc=1 Home of Robert Becker scuttles. I bought one in the small size. Well made and functions quite well. The lather bowl on my small one is quite deep and holds plenty of lather for a leisurely shave. The scuttle holds the warmth well. These scuttles are priced affordably and I feel the one I got is well worth the BIN 15.00 price tag for the small size. he makes a few at a time and they go pretty fast. __________________________ _____________The quest for the Perfect Lavender Shave continues.......
08-10-2010 11:52 PM My #1 ebay store would be Honeybee Spa. Sue makes really fine soaps that you can collect recklessly (6 for $22 or so), and that work, and smell, wonderfully. I really like her mocha java...mmmmmmm......

08-11-2010 08:08 AM There are a lot of great ebay sellers, and sellers on etsy since you can also sell supplies now on etsy. Many of myfriends sell on those two places along with artfire, ecreator and a few others. But one thing about buying items on any of these sites, there are soooo many of them who buy premade bases or melt and pour soap bases and pass them off as made from scratch products. (personal pet peeve of mine) The term handmade, homemade, handcrafted all seem to be interchanged now days. So looking at the ingredient list, or key words such as cold process, hot process, made from scratch instead. (ok off my soap box now) But what about looking at sellers outside of ebay? Just remember most of the sellers on ebay are buying their products from these other major companies then reselling them. Or they are the major company themselves. So something to think about so you can cut out the middle man. Not to mention they have to add on the cost of the ebay fee's to turn a profit on ebay. Or they are great links for other vendors here on DSF to look at for buying their supplies for samples and whatnot. http://www.midwestbottles.com Is a great supplier because you can buy just a few items and still get the same price break as if you were buying 50 or a 100 or more. They also have great shipping rates for small orders, even first class rates if your buying one or two items. http://www.bayousome.com If you want to buy 50 or 100 bottles/jars then this is a good site as well. They don't charge your CC until the order is ready to be shipped because they only charge you actual shipping costs. http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/Pa ... iners.aspx</a><!-- m --> This is another seller that I would recommend. They have a lot of great options and have recently changed their whole site and how they handle shipping. Now you will find shipping rates built right into the price. So what you see is what you pay and they have high quality products. They have some really cool and unique items including glass bottles. Most bottles/jars do not include a lid so you need to look at the cap size and buy that separately. But then you can also buy the top that you want as well from the selection. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.elementsbathandbody.com/">http://www.elementsbathandbody.com Another great company is Elements. They have some unique items that I buy exclusively from them. (the larger twist up tubes for shave sticks come to mind, in several sizes) they also carry quite a selection of tins and other good stuff. You can also buy a single item from them rather than 50 or a 100. I have done business with all of the above companies and highly recommend them myself. There are many vendors that I use, but these are some that I think would interest you the most. http://www.soapandthings.com This is another supplier but I have not done business with her personally. But many of my friends have and do recommend her. She has some unique items as well which are kinda nice. Someday I do plan on doing business with her though. http://www.prairie-creations.com/shop/index.php click to find Prairie Creations ~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~ "believe you can and you're halfway there" Theodore Roosevelt
08-11-2010 04:57 PM Hey Krissy, those are some interesting sites. I am always looking for small tubes, jars, and such so I can send samples to shave buddies, so thanks. Freddy
08-11-2010 05:52 PM depending on what you wanted to spend, another thought would be the portion/condiment cups. The 1 oz ones fit into the little zip 3x4 inch craft bags that you can find in the craft department at walmart. I bought a bunch of them on ebay for next to nothing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0482065864 ![]() If you think it might leak, a little electrical tape wrapped around the top onto the bottom will keep them leak free. It's what I sent my samples to you in, I used the 1oz ones. They also make them in 2 oz as well. but other sites I would also recommend would be to check out WSP, Midwest Bottles or Elements. Elements does run weekly sales and not just junk, the good stuff if your looking for small stuff. http://www.prairie-creations.com/shop/index.php click to find Prairie Creations ~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~"~:~ "believe you can and you're halfway there" Theodore Roosevelt
