Editing a post.

This is a small matter that is more a source of annoyance rather than anything else.
Personally I'm in the habit of writing a comment and then posting it.
Usually on reading the post back, I find I want to add something else or correct something etc.
If I go back and edit the post a banner or heading appears at the top of the post saying "last modified at" such and such a time.
Shouldn't there be a longer time delay before the "last modified at..." heading cuts in ? Undecided

oh my...I edited your post to reply instead of replying in my own post! I fixed it though!!!

not really sure how to change that without a lot of core files changes and when we update the forum when a new patch comes out (every few months), that'll be erased.

So what you're asking is that after posting, there be a certain amount of time where you can edit it without it being shown as an edit so it looks like it was the original post?
