OK, member Johnny has mention Floid Blue in both the SOTD and shave den threads and he's peaked my interest. I think there are 2 Italian version and one Spanish? Can I hear some descriptions of how they smell and is there anything out there that you would compare them to?

Thanks

Gary

Thanks Chris, seems like they are on the wavelength of Aqua Velva or Pinaud Clubman.Hmmm

I have both versions of Spanish Floïd... Suave and Vigoroso. I was expecting the Vigorose to be much more pronounced than the Suave, with more menthol punch. There is a bit more, but not what I was expecting!
I'd have to say that if I could only choose one AS splash, one of the two Spanish versions would be it, and one would do as well as the other!

It's been a love affair from the start!

And...just to add to the confusion, there is a Spanish version of the blue A/S (which no one imports any more) and a vintage Spanish blue EDT (sorry no uploaded picture for that):

The Floid Blue (Italian version) that I use (IMHO) has nothing in common with Aqua Velva other than the color blue. It is a sweeter smelling product, kind of a mixture of peppermint and baby power and unlike Aqua Velva, it leaves your skin feeling really good, not dried out.

As has been stated, the manufacture of the Blue has been discontinued and for the life of me I don't know why. It had to outsell the other. I use the Floid Blue at least five to six days of the week, that's how much I like it. The stuff is not cheap in the 400ml bottle and I buy one bottle per month for backup. I will do this until the supplier runs out of stock or I run out of money. Right now I have ten bottles in reserve and will be placing another order later this month.
