I like this cream A LOT. It's fairly priced (I think it was $15 for a tube), it smells great (hard to nail down something it smells like), lathers quickly and cushions the face nicely. I went 4 weeks or so without shaving and decided to try this out as it was my newest cream and one of the many that I haven't had the liberty of trying yet. I didn't put on any pre-shave oils or cream, just applied the lather directly to my beard after I whipped it up in the bowl.

here's a few photos;

Looks like a good lather Andrew. How would you say it performed considering you didn't use any pre shave oils? (I'm assuming you normally use preshave oils)

Looking good, Andrew. For someone fairly new to wet shaving, you have come a long way in a short time.

I have loved both the Crabtree and Evelyn scents I own already ( Sienna and Sandalwood ). Nomad is next on my list from their lineup.

I actually liked it A LOT, to be blunt. probably one of my favorite creams that I've tried, I'm really a fan of the AOS creams too.

When I shave, I normally rub noxema over my face before lathering with a brush, but since I'm still get unpacked after my move, I didn't have time to dig for it so I just went with using only the shaving cream.

thanks! asking lots of questions and having kind people be patient with me is a recipe for success. Cheers

I actually got a few sandalwood samples from C&E when I first got back into using a brush. I tried it once and since I didn't know what I was doing, it wasn't a pleasant experience at all. I should give it another try, after I cycle through some of the other unused creams I have.
