I appreciate that! And maybe I've come off as too salty and wounded in the other thread. These knock-offs don't present a real threat to the business and I've been fortunate that Blackland has grown substantially during a year in which so many other businesses have suffered or closed. For me, it's more about the principle of seeing others benefit from your efforts. Among many others, we've watched Doug at PAA grow through it with his DOC and recently we've watched Matt from Rex/RE experience it with the new Ambassador knock-off. It's just a deflating feeling, but one I've known was coming and one I have prepared for. We'll be just fine. Smile

Shane I didn't see anything other than someone that has passion for what he does, feel violated after seeing his imagination stolen to some extent by people with no imagination. I understand and think nothing less of you or your company. I hope I love the Sabre as much as the Vector.Take care buddy !

Managed to sneak in just ahead of you at 4385 Wink

Since passing my original Bird on to a family member, I’ve been eying the brass. Glad to support Shane and have a wonderful shaver for life.

LOL. I considered the Blackbird as I read good things about it but the Dart ate me up and I think I'd like to try before I buy one of those. I know Shabe has the 30 day thing but I hate to send something back like that. Congrats on sneaking in before me  Big Grin

There’s gotta be somebody down there that can share with you. I’m not much help north of the border. But I thought I read somewhere that Shane budgets for those returns. Just get him to add one to your order Tongue

Have had a notice of shipping label created for several days but that's it. Shane, have these shipped and just missed their scan (seen that happen before and they pop up)  or are they not in the Post Office's hands yet? Asking for an anxious friend  Big Grin

Yes. If you have a tracking number then USPS received your parcel yesterday (Monday), save for a few dozen that we've packed so far last night/this morning which USPS doesn't have yet. Hoping to get through all the orders today, but they might slip into tomorrow. Orders exceeded my estimate by a factor of 3+ so we're in the weeds a bit and catching up fast.

Shane, no worries and VERY happy you got slammed. I don't mind waiting and know sometimes it's good old USPS. I have a soap that has been Departing St Louis and Arriving at St Louis back and forth many times now for 5 days now Cool

A GEM of a SHAVE !!

Tuesday December 8, 2020
Razor: Blackland Sabre Lvl 2
Blade: Gem (1)
Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft Silvertip
Soap: Ethos Succès
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Ethos Succès SFS
Fragrance: Ethos Succès EDP

So my Sabre from Black Friday landed last night and you know what had to happen this morning  Big Grin I had been interested in this razor for some time and read as much as I could when I'd see a post about it with detail. Many posts indicated to me for efficiency I was going to want the Level 2. Problem is I would read some posts about it being better than the Level 1 but still too mild which I took for not getting the smoothness I require from every shave (Yeah, I'm one of those guys  Rolleyes) Let's just say I had to watch the angle from time to time, not that it was gonna bite me but to maintain the optimal cutting angle for efficiency. I had a comfortable and CLOSE shave even though I had some leftover "rawness" from yesterdays straight razor shave. I was cautious in getting this razor but am SOOOOO happy with the purchase and another amazing razor from Blackland Razors Thanks Shane ! A worthy Den Mate to the Vector which is my Grail SE Razor !
