Hey Andrew, I'm glad you got it! It is a great all around cleanser and a fine addition to your shaving routine. Take a look here to learn a bit more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch-hazel . If you look under medicinal, you'll see that among other uses its use as an aftershave lotion ingredient is specifically mentioned.

yeah, I checked that out last night. I'm an admin on a survival forum and witch hazel is used by some guys over there for cuts and scrapes.

Andrew, consider yourself severely reprimanded !!! - You'll have to make amends next month !
Picked up the Omega 49 locally and while at the shop they were also selling a Swedish soap called Saltsjo. Its a regular soap that they say can also be used for shaving. I haven't taken it out of its wrapper but it seems to have a hard foam like texture as I can compress it.

Hey Gary congrats. on the haul !!! I've seen the Saltsjo around over the years. As some one that likes sailing the pic. of the yacht always catches my eye. Be interesting to see what you think of it . Of course we don't expect anything more than a five to ten thousand word review.

Aw, come on, Gary, tell us what you really think.
Seriously Freddy, Dove hand soap is better than this stuff. Very fluffy lather, lather started to disappear immediately, the lemon in it irritated my face, no glide nor protection. I tried to lather it up holding the bar which was frustrating, then molded the bar into an old TOBS tub, that didn't work either.

Okay, that doesn't even bode well for it as a hand soap or body bar if the lemon in it is irritating. Thanks for saving me some dosh.
Finally found this in the Rite-Aid one town over. Internet scuttlebutt is that Creighton's makes this cream ... the same Creighton's who make the cream bases for the 3 Ts.
