| 04-06-2011 05:38 AM This La Dressante #9 coticule bout just arrived, and photos do not do it justice. It looks like a "plain Jane" here, but in person it shows a subtle holographic effect. As a bonus, it delivers the best coticule edge I've gotten thus far.. Better a diamond with a flaw than a polished pebble.... Bill Brown |
| 04-06-2011 02:45 PM Beautiful stone Bill. Enjoy it in good health. BTW, for some reason I keep adding new acquisitions to last month's thread... Nathan http://www.adoramapix.com/batmang/gallery/shave-den-january-24-2010 Shave Den pics I intend to live forever, or die trying. ---Groucho Marx |

I've now entered a world, a strange world.... Hey Bill Congrats. ! I know nothing about such things except that it looks like it means business and being manufactured in Belgium would mean it's expensive. - especially if their boxes of candy are anything to go by. Obviously someone like yourself can fully appreciate the quality, while ignorami like myself simply remain ignorant. Enjoy ! batmang Wrote:BTW, for some reason I keep adding new acquisitions to last month's thread...Hey Nathan, I think it's called old age,.... I can't remember ! | 04-22-2011 11:10 AM This will finish out the month for me. My wife being gone allowed me to load up and sneak some things into the house... I'll have peace until the bill comes! I know I have a moratorium on soap purchases, but the Valobra is small, and I didn't want the Duke to be lonely in the box for the trip cross country.. The Robeson ShurEdge is a great shaver, and Tony Miller had a closeout on 4 sided paddles... I can't resist a bargain! Better a diamond with a flaw than a polished pebble.... Bill Brown |
| 04-22-2011 04:53 PM Hey Bill, ....C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S on that mighty fine haul !!!!! :woot: The other stuff is of course great....but that Simpson Duke !!!! ( looks big, so I'm guessing size "3" ? ) - Oh Yeah !!!! After you've had time to become fully acquainted with "The Duke" please post a review if you can. I'd be more than a little keen to know what you reckon ! "I know I have a moratorium on soap purchases, but the Valobra is small, and I didn't want the Duke to be lonely in the box for the trip cross country.." Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy !!! Best, Andy.
