This La Dressante #9 coticule bout just arrived, and photos do not do it justice. It looks like a "plain Jane" here, but in person it shows a subtle holographic effect. As a bonus, it delivers the best coticule edge I've gotten thus far..

Hey Bill Congrats. !
I know nothing about such things except that it looks like it means business and being manufactured in Belgium would mean it's expensive. - especially if their boxes of candy are anything to go by.
Obviously someone like yourself can fully appreciate the quality, while ignorami like myself simply remain ignorant.
Enjoy !

It's a strong citrus note with a clove/cinnamon/spice/floral base. Fairly short lived, but extremely pleasant while its around.

Out of curiosity, what type of store is your source?

This will finish out the month for me. My wife being gone allowed me to load up and sneak some things into the house... I'll have peace until the bill comes! Oops

I know I have a moratorium on soap purchases, but the Valobra is small, and I didn't want the Duke to be lonely in the box for the trip cross country..

The Robeson ShurEdge is a great shaver, and Tony Miller had a closeout on 4 sided paddles... I can't resist a bargain!

The other stuff is of course great....but that Simpson Duke !!!! ( looks big, so I'm guessing size "3" ? ) - Oh Yeah !!!! Thumbsup

After you've had time to become fully acquainted with "The Duke" please post a review if you can.

I'd be more than a little keen to know what you reckon !
