I have the Klar kabinett shaving soap. Good, stable and plentiful lather and good protection of the skin, lovely "rose-geranium" scent.
Not the most moisturising soap out-there, but that is nothing that a good aftershave can't solve.

Elm has a new puck of the KLAR soap. I'm going to see if he can hack off a small piece for me to try to see if I like it.

Klar Kabinett is in the top two around these parts... Pretty high praise.

Just saw the pics that Elm posted. Don't think that's the same soap that Bullgoose sold. Well, the soap might be the same but he sold it in a tin, not a container.

I actually sold (past tense) both varieties. The Klar Kabinett comes in a 500g Brick and is simply wrapped in paper. Klar also makes a shaving soap with a different recipe that they put in tins. There are several scents of the tinned soap including Klassic, Sport, Sandalwood and Klar Ladies (Lotus Flower) soap. The only one I still have in stock is the ladies soap.

I like Klar so much, maybe I wouldn't mind smelling like a lotus flower! HuhRolleye

But you didn't have it in the wooden container that is in the pic that was posted.

It is a shame they call it ladies soap. It is a floral but then again, so is rose. Undecided
