| 01-10-2012 01:52 AM I'm just curious if any of the more common shaving soaps and blades are made in America or if most of what's good comes from beyond the ocean. |

| 01-10-2012 08:09 AM Williams and VDH shave soaps are made in the USA. And I think ASR is still making blades. That's all I got. |
| 01-10-2012 02:13 PM Personna Medical and Lab blades are made in the USA. Or is that ASR? Johnny "Younger than some, older than most" - Wet shaving for 50+ years. |

I wonder if The Real Shave Co. is made in America? I quite like their shaving creams. I'll have to check my tube when I get home tonight unless someone beats me to it. to me it doesn't really matter much where the stuff is made, I'm just curious as to where the market seems to be with the stuff we like. |
It's amazing how much stuff is still made in the UK for shaving - manufacturing isn't our strong point any more (I'm UK-based BTW) - so I'm glad to see that we're at least helping people shave properly! Also, I heard that these are really good USA-built razors if you're interested: hartsteel.com |
And ASR is now Engergizer Holdings (Wilkinson / Schick). Schick still has a plant in Connecticut. http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2010/dec/08...ety-razor/ They may stay around due to the medical and industrial razor manufacturing. |
