OK, what's AII you may ask, well its American International Industries, the company that sells Clubman/Pinaud, Jeris, and Lustry.

OK, I have a beef with the bottle that the osage rub comes in. I know that the products are not expensive and on the low end of the market I have two items, Lustray spice and Osage rub (both the same bottle) that have issues. With the Osage rub, the center nozzle will stick to the cap, so when I unscrew the cap, the center nozzle will come out! Where the thread is on the Lustray Spice bottle, there is extra 'flashing' from being made in the mold making it harder to put the cap on that it should be.

I know these are minor things, but boy, they bug the hell out me.

Any body else have problems with product packaging?

I only have the Osage Rub, Gary, and it seems to be fine. I have no issues with how the bottle opens or closes.

The solution is easy and cheap.

Yea, I hear ya.

I do have some old Avon decanters but the amount of osage I have I'd filling up 2 maybe 3 decanters.

So far I've been lucky as I haven't come across any bad fitting plastic bottle inserts.

What I have come across is a bottle design specification and or purchasing team that obviously has never used nor tested their own pouring hole.
Case in point : The new plastic bottled Aqua Velva 3.5 oz. regular or musk. - A great American product let down by a pour hole that's so big you've gotta use a finger as a slower/stopper.

Best,
Andy.

But Andy, with a bigger pour hole, more will come out so it'll get used up quicker. Makes you buy more.

The Euro glass Brut bottle has the same thing, super huge hole. Dominca Bay rum bottle are regular bottle without a 'nozzle' but that is one its 'charming characteristics.'

The Thayers pour hole tops are pretty bad as well. They usually shoot a stream across the room and or flood your hand.

That's a nice looking bottle, but you know what, why stop there, lets just go all aristocratic and get crystal scotch decanters.

Brooke, what about Swarovski, or Baccarat? Now there would be Freddys point of the bottle being greater than the scent.
